PHOTOGRAPHY

is acquired by practice

This is a great quote that I’ve tried to base my photography around. Obviously, there is importance in having the newest high quality equipment. But when you’re first starting out and building up your skills, there’s no need to drop $2,000 on a lens (whether it be you can’t afford it, you’re afraid it’s going to go to waste, or that you have no clue how to actually use it). When diving full force into photography, I felt as if I’d hit a brick wall: I wanted to take amazing photographs, but was using a $100 lens. Instead of letting that hold me back, I learned ways to take high quality, professional looking photos without dropping $2,000, and that’s what I want to help people do as well.
